The Patriot Athletics program at Wylie Preparatory Academy is committed to the integration of faith and learning as part of the overall student experience. Wylie Prep’s desire is for student-athletes and staff to develop a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and share that relationship with others.

Wylie Prep Athletics places a high value on the mentoring process and the integration of faith in sports so that in all things, we accomplish our mission: “To further the Wylie Preparatory Academy mission through the vehicle of athletics by making disciples for Christ fully prepared to answer God’s call.” This mission statement also reflects our commitment to honoring God in all things. We represent our school and Jesus Christ well when we perform to a level worthy of our opponents.

Through the challenges of competition, our athletes have the opportunity to develop character traits of teamwork, victory, leadership, unity, courage, integrity, service, and excellence. Such traits are essential to the future success of our athletes in becoming vital and impactful members of their community. We believe that in discipling and nurturing our student athletes from a Kingdom perspective, they will mature to become Mighty Men of Valor and Courageous Women of Virtue—ready to Honor God, Make Disciples, and Change the World!
